Recently I passed the exam and I would like to share some thoughts.
The official exam page is available here. It was passed by me with a score of 767/1000.
Of course, I cannot share the list of questions. However, passing this exam is a bit tricky as there is no official reference book that covers all the topics required.
Here is the list of resources that I used for learning:
- List of topics prepared by Mike Rodionov (link to the blog).
- List of topics available on bitScry blog.
- On-line course: MeasureUp Official Practise Test (not free, but worthe the money).
- Udemy on-line course: Azure 70-473 Designing and Implementing Cloud Data Solutions by Scott Duffy.
- Book: Pro SQL Server on Microsoft Azure, Pranab Mazumdar, Sourabh Agarwal, Amit Banerjee.
- Practise, practise, practise. Perhaps it is the most important part.
- The MSDN documentation – it is not a joke. Most of the articles regarding Azure are available in a very affordable form.
